You heal your wounds that become scars with the passing of time. Those scars remind you of the positive things you have learnt from painful experiences. You grow stronger and wiser. Thank you for this lovely post. I also love the photo with the red roses, a universal symbol of love among human beings. Very nice!

Thank you for your great support to my blog, Micheal. I really appreciate this. However, there is a much better writer than me. I strongly recommend you and all your followers my friend Mario Savioniโ€™s novelette โ€œPickles and Tartsโ€ (very short chapters, easy to read, each chapter can be understood without reading the previous one). It is a story where 54-year-old Frank has been selected by 19-year-old Nicole through a dating site. Frank looks at Nicoleโ€™s photos on the site and is attracted to her beauty. Nicole tells him she has a boyfriend and is not interested in a romantic relationship. She adds: โ€œItโ€™s fun to talk to different people sometimes.โ€ The only apparent thing Frank and Nicole seem to have in common is their interest to write stories. Perhaps they want to meet just to write one together? Now Frank has already started to imagine this story, a story-within-the-main-story. โ€œPickles and Tartsโ€ is a lovely story of illusion-delusion, dream-reality, non-conformist with the Capitalist system, reflective on love, sex, drugs, abuse, loneliness and human relationships in todayโ€™s world. It is profound and highly intriguing. I especially recommend chapter 15 as well as Mario’s beautiful music: https://savioni.wordpress.com/

Good thought. I would say its both time and you working together to heal. You won’t get over something if there is no willpower and time is defintely needed as well. You will never feel better the same day you got hurt.

You are right to some extent. You do have the power to heal all wounds but time also is a great lesson. If you think about something which you felt scared of a long time ago, you’re not anymore because of time
