CHASING THE EPHEMERAL OR THE LASTING:

Now every athlete who [goes into training and] competes in the games is disciplined and exercises self-control in all things. They do it to win a crown that withers, but we [do it to receive] an imperishable [crown that cannot wither].

This should be a short one. Just a nudge and a reminder to ask ourselves this question as stated above. What are you chasing after; what am I chasing after?. The ephemeral or the everlasting?.

Truth be told we live in a world with so many aspirations and goal setting. But what are your aspirations set on; what are your goals set upon?. His complete will or all yours?.
