Philippians 4:4 King James version (KJV) : Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice.
Some persons think happiness is about your wealth, beauty, having all your needs met and the rest. That’s a very wrong mindset, we’ve learnt to build our happiness and joy upon one desire or the other, now if these needs are not being met the opposite of happiness becomes apparent. How then can we rejoice in the Lord if our happiness is based on one thing or the other, that it’s not the mind of God for us. He wants us to give thanks in whatever situation we find ourselves, He wants us to build a happy mind that no matter how hard the situation may be, we should still rejoice. Let nothing steal your joy my friend always rejoice in the Lord.
Rejoicing in the Lord includes a number of categories. We can celebrate his promises, his attributes, and the ways he enhances our lives. Any given moment, even when we’re in the midst of hurt or pain, there is MUCH we can praise him for. I love the way you expressed it: rejoicing “builds a happy mind!”

Oh my goodness. There are certainly some difficult situations to brave. Thankfully, He walks with us, and is there through it all. Even when each moment could be our last, giving thanks for every one makes that moment bearable. And so it is, and so it shall be!
